Stachehouse Productions is building a curated roster of talented creatives for freelance, project-based work. We’re looking for professionals who can step in and bring the same quality and energy we’re known for.

This is not a full-time job. All roles are contractor-based (1099) and paid per project based on scope, experience, and role.

Location: Detroit, MI (On-set, office, and remote)
Compensation:  $100 - $1000+ - Pay depends on experience, scale, role and project.

• Directors
• Producers
• Videographers / Camera Operators
• Photographers
• Editors (Music Video + Commercial)
• Production Assistants (PAs)
• BTS Content Creators
• Colorist 
• And More

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience (student projects, personal brand work, freelance clients, etc. count)
• Must be reliable, communicative, and adaptable on set
• Familiar with fast-paced creative environments (especially music video or branded content)
• Must have your own equipment or access to gear (unless otherwise specified)
• For editors: must be proficient in Adobe Premiere 

• Must be 18+
• Must be based in Detroit or able to travel to Detroit/Metro area
• Portfolio or reel of past work required (can include personal, school, or client work)
• Must have a valid ID
• Must be able to invoice or accept digital payments (CashApp, Zelle, PayPal, etc.)
• Must sign a Stachehouse Contractor Agreement and NDA before first project
• Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction on set
• Must have reliable transportation
• (For shooters/editors) Must have access to your own gear or editing software

• Show up on time and ready to work
• Communicate clearly with producers and team leads before, during, and after the shoot
• Follow creative direction and deliver assigned tasks without micromanagement
• Maintain a professional attitude on set, even in fast-paced or stressful environments
• Respect client confidentiality, brand guidelines, and on-set boundaries
• Submit deliverables on time, according to project deadlines
• Represent the Stachehouse brand with quality, creativity, and consistency

All new roster members must complete a 24-hour training period before being assigned paid projects. This includes shadowing active sets, reviewing our production standards, and completing a short onboarding task or mock assignment (depending on your role).
